Do we really enjoy what we do?
I wonder, if we took money, job security, future prospects out of the equation, would we really be heading to work every morning......

Very very very........very scary - Shotover Canyon SWING
I have been meaning to do a bunjy for a while and where else to do it but in the home of bunjy - Queenstown! On our research on adventures in Queenstown we came across SWING, which has branched out of bunjy. It is regarded as more entertaining but less scary than bunjy. Having experienced SWING twice, I would say it is definitely a hair raising expereince.....
Thriller - Tandem sky dive
I always thought the US and Europe were more adventurous than any where else in the world. My knowledge about New Zealand was fairly limited until I moved to Australia last year. I found out that New Zealand leads in some of the most thrilling adventures in the world. Apparently Bungy was invented in the outskirts of Queentown by AJ Hackett a few years ago.
Audit stinks!
I feel like writing about my profession today. I am an auditor.....
Sexpo at Melbourne Exhibition Centre
I went to the Sexpo with Vivek and I must say it was pretty packed. Not that I was surprised. It was funny that no one was entering an exhibition on hotels and clubs next door. "Wrong timing" is what I would say to them! There was a huge stage near the entrance with a massive screen behind it. The screen was playing a male strip show that had men of all shapes and sizes. It was more on the funny side than erotic. The rest of the place was full of stalls swamped by people....looking for "Nirvana" in sex toys!
The Wedding day
I have been meaning to write an article on my wedding day for a while. It has been over 3 months since Vivek and I got married. It all seems like a distant memory now, more of a dream. Having said that there are various incidents and emotions that are still quite vivid in my mind.
Henz Nite
Back in Kenya most of my close friends got married when they were around 21 years of age. I was the youngest in my group then, about 19. Like most traditional Indian girls they would make a few trips to India, go through the whole shebang of pre-arranged meetings with guys, finally “settle” for someone who satisfies their parents’ pre-set criteria of a suitable boy! May I add the “settle” part takes place with an immediate effect! No time is “wasted”. Basically they would return to Kenya married.
My Engagement to Vivek.
Vivek and I got engaged on Sunday, 18 July, 2004. It was quite an exciting event – kicked off with an hour of prayers and rituals by a Hare Krishna priest Aniruddha aka Andrew, some dancing, exchange of “shagun” and rings, good food, more dancing with a sneak preview of our (Vivek and I) Jive performance at the reception …..
Comic's Lounge
I have always been a big fan of Drew Carrey show - Whose line is it anyway. Its an improvised comedy show that I believe is not every comedian's cup of tea. It requires inherent talent and confidence to take on suggested phrases/words from the audience and spontaneously create a story line packed with action, drama and comedy.
Mulberry Hills
Made a trip to Mulberry Hills today. Took a cab coz I felt like making a conversation with someone in the morning. Anna was quite a character. In her 18 years this was the second time she was driving someone so far out of the city. I got the impression she was not looking forward to the trip. Anyway, I decided to make the trip worth her while and embarked on my usual sessions of H2H – nice and easy.
